I built this for the Vietman GB. It is OOB using Vallejo paints and Flory wash. The decals a super thin and tear very easily but look great once down. The kit suffers from some fit issues that must be dealt with, but not something you can't handle. The detail is pretty nice, but not much in the way of poses available like the Hase kit. The decal sheet is well short all the decals it calls out, which limited the stenciling quite a bit. All in all I'm happy with it. I made some mistakes along the way, but I'll build the Hase or Tamiya kit if I do another one. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful kitty cat.
Looks great! Loaded for bear.
Thanks,

Very nicely finished! But for a Vietnam Tomcat, only VF-1 Wolfpack and VF-2 Bounty Hunters flew them there- off USS Enterprise to cover the evacuation of Saigon in April 1975. And they would have carried the D/G/H Sidewinder. The L model did not enter service until the 80’s

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. It was a pleasent build. I will build the Tamiya kit next time though, this kit has issues that shouldn't be there.
Striking! A really crisp, clean build overall, but the gray panel shading really makes the model pop. Congrats.
