Here is my finished project.
Tamiya 1:32 P-51D in the markings of Daddy's Girl
This was an amazing kit to build and i have to say my best build yet. Hope you all enjoy.
Some description of what i used.
I replaced the kit instrument panel with a Eduard Look one. Also used HGW fabric seat belts and resin dingy. Painted with K kolors Aluminum, Tamiya mix for the bright green nose and MRP for everything else.
On the Bench: 1:32 Roden Stearman, 1:35 Orochi M3A3 Bradley, 1:6 Mandalorian figure
Nice job. Outdoor pics look great.
Thanks,
John
Thank you. Cant take pictures anywhere else now since i discovered how well models look in natural light.
Fabulous build and photography. Looks like a real one in that outdoor setting.
Stupendous! Really like your weathering, especially the fuel spills.
In the pattern: Scale Shipyard's 1/48 Balao Class Sub! leaning out the list...NOT! Ha, added to it again - Viper MkVii, 1/32 THUD & F-15J plus a weekend madness build!
She looks real! Very nice job on the build, weathering, and photography
Great modeling. One restored in these markings is in Sacramento and I visit now and then.

Thank you!
And probably the best kit i ever built. My only gripe is that the engine bay required some modification to allow the cowls to fit correctly.

TheMongoose Stupendous! Really like your weathering, especially the fuel spills.
Thank you. Thought it was a bit risky to weather it so much especially with the fuel spills. I dont see many P-51s weather very much though

I'm glad it wasn't just me. These had me shaking my head. Very un-Tamiya-like. Nice work on Wetmore's ride. Turned out great..
