Very nice.  I have the E in the stash and man that is quite a box of parts.  Really like the experimental camo, didnt help this guy though :p

Thanks John, indeed it can be intimidating.  Yeah, the camo did not save this guy from the 602.

Awesome 110. Impressive and inspirational. Congrats.

I'm interested in the AK Panel liners. I've been using Flory but interested in other options. I tried Humbrol but was not impressed.

Thanks Hoss. You'll love them.

Mighty fine looking Zerstoerer you have there.  Love the fading on your paint job.

Thanks Aggie

Great looking Zerstorer LD, that paint looks fantastic. So you like thee AK set better than Flory?

Thanks PJ.  Yes, I've switched to the AK stuff.  I like the oils much better.  Very smooth and they stay in the panel lines better.  You can then streak them back with the airflow better than the Flory.  You just have to make sure you use an acrylic gloss coat barrier as these are oil based.

Mopar Madness

Look out, those 110's can be addicting!  They just have a no nonsense look about them.  Smashing results again LD.  That gloss is like glass and the weathering looks the business! Was this a commission build?

Thanks Chad, I see that.  Agreed, perhaps it's the nonsense look that I find appealing. I have the G-2 and G-4 in the stash for later. It's quite impressive in size when finished too.

This one is actually for me. Sometimes you just have to build someth for yourself. I'm going to try to squeeze it in my display cabinet next to Bob Doe's Spitfire.

I finished this turkey up last night.  As I said, I wanted another crack at this subject, but a Battle of Britain machine this time.  I chose Urban Schlaffer's 9/ZG 76 machine from August of 1940.  Like my E version, it got Quickboost exhausts and gun barrels.  The wheels were Eduard Brassin replacements.  The main makings are Montex masks and the rest are the kit decals.

I'm really starting to like this kit. I don't really know why, as it certainly is not that easy of a build.  This one went together a bit easier than the E.  Perhaps it was familiarity this time.  I do see an Eduard G-2 in Defense of the Reich markings soon.  I got that bad boy in the stash too.

Quick update.  Eduard decals performed great.  Lately I've been keen on the AK Interactive Paneliners set which is designed to compliment the particular color your using.  I really like the subtle effect they leave as opposed to Flory.  Also, as you can see, there is no better clear coat than X-22 and Mr. Leveling Thinner.  Smooth as glass and hard as a rock.
