HobbyBoss Su-27 Flanker B help

I bought it online, but it is now backordered. So no return and swap. I don't believe the place I ordered it from would be willing to send me just the missing sprue, because of a few different interactions I had with them.

I also checked eBay and didn't find anything.

I did hear back from HobbyBoss and even though the kit was missing the sprue (sealed box btw) and had a duplicate of another sprue, they want me to buy the missing one. It's not a huge dollar amount, but I'll think twice about buying another kit of theirs since it was their mistake.

Another solution is to look on Evilbay and see if anyone is selling parts, started kits or whatnot that are cheap and will solve the problem. I get many kits and parts that way to correct issues I've created or to get resin parts on the cheap in estate kits that sell far below thier price to get pieces seperately. It's a long shot, but may pay off.

Did you buy it from a shop or did you get it mail order?  If you got it from your local hobby shop, see if they're willing to exchange it or give you a refund.  If you got it through an online retailer, see if they are willing to either send you the missing sprue or replace the kit. It can't hurt to ask.
