Very nice build Chris.

Hi Chris,
XLNT, me likes a lot!
Camo and overall presentation - great stuff :)

Struggeling with this kit atm, so really appreciate every part of your post.

Slightly off topic:
Did you get the decal sheet instrument panel slides to confirm to the plastic?
Have some doubts to be honest...

Stay safe and happy modelling!

Svenne

Outstanding work.  Your client will be quite happy.

An excellently done Spit, but you do have one minor flub that I have to bring forward since it is a commission build for you.  The rescue crowbar on the pilot door was never painted red during the war.  It was natural metal until after the war when they were painted red.

Truly excellent paint and weathering! YesYesYes

But it looks like you've got a significant problem with silvering around some of your decals. Did you gloss-coat before you applied them?

Thanks for posting. I wasn't aware that they had made up a Mk. 9c. I looked up some reviews online that were of the same opinion as yours.

Funny to see "Hobbico" on the plan sheets too.

Once again, I am in awe of the skill in painting and finiahing.  I have much to learn!

Ashide from the fact its a Spit Angry thats a really nice loking build, its come out great.

Though i have to say you either have very small hands or you have put the wrong scale down, i am guessing you meant to say 1/32nd.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

1/32 Revell Spitfire
Posted by wards model builder on Saturday, August 29, 2020 4:00 AM

Here are some photos of a recent commission build of a Spitfire by Revell in 1:32 scale.

Its a straight out of the box build using Tamiya paints.

Very nice kit, well detailed and relatively simple to build.

Thanks

Chris
