I'm with Greg, that is simply amazing in 1/144 scale... I would even say that it is great in 72, 48, 93 any scale actually.

keavdog Fantastic! I'll have to add that scheme to my aggresor squadron collection. Amazing work in that scale.

Not sure whether these sheets are still available -- I seem to recall Fightertown reducing their catalog fairly substantially -- but it's got a nice cross-section of schemes. On the 1/144 sheet there's another 'Flanker' version in browns and green (which I intend to do sometime), and a few plainer ones in grey over grey (which I'll probably never get around to...I like a bit more drama, color-wise!)

modelcrazy....and am happy to see how nice it could turn out if I wasn't building it.
Now that's funny. Thanks for the laugh, Steve.
Beautiful build, I have that little guy in the stash and am happy to see how nice it could turn out if I wasn't building it.
Steve
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

gregbaleAfter all, it's just tape....
That's one of those inspirational quotes I should print out in an extra large font and tape in plain view of my bench.
Greg Are you for real? You masked and painted the camo in this scale? Excuse me while I put my eyes back in their sockets. This is the coolest thing I've seen this month. In life, not just the forum.

You're very kind!
I've masked Swedish splinter camouflage in this scale. After that, I have no fear.
After all, it's just tape....
This is too cool! Your model looks great
This was a quick one: Revell's nifty 1/144 F-14A Tomcat, done up as one of the colorfully-camouflaged birds from the USN's Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center headquartered at NAS Fallon, c 1997. 'NSAWC 10' sported one of several versions of the 'Flanker' scheme designed to mimic Russian Sukhoi fighters.
Kit was built OOB except for lead-wire ejection curtain handles added to the tiny GRU-7s, and a stretched-sprue ACMI pod added to the stbd. missile station. Paints are Tamiya mixes, and decals came from the excellent old Fightertown #FTD14403 'Adversary Bad Cats' sheet.
