If I may be so honestly humbled; "One can never have so many F4U-Corsairs! At one point I was blowing through kit after kit of Corsairs, even my TBI doctor sent me home with several Corsair kits.
Greg Nice trip down memory lane, Toshi. It's such a treat having you, and occasionally Ezra here. It's great that you find participating here to be helpful, but methinks it's really us folk who truly benefit from having you here.

But honestly, I'm just hanging through each step in life and build, I try my best in catching up to FSM Forums Members builds and the kind of realistic qualities that I view each day!
The Visible B-17G Flying Fortress! This was my very first attempt and I really mean first attemp at PE. I blame all of you FSM Forum Members that read this, yes all of you! Lol!
It was tedious and extremely fun to bend tiny pieces of metal and folding it into equipment needed for the exterior and interior of the B-17G. I recall Mrs. Toshi wanting to put me up for adoptio! Lol!
Since the Flying Fortress was viewable, I did not want my hard work unoticed. Lots of time and money went into this project. It was also placed into the FSM Digital Galleries. The final photo at the very bottom is what made it into the FSM Digital Gallery.

goldhammer I had forgotten the early builds of yours and the trials and tribulations you went through on them. But the upside is how far you have come in the modeling world even with the occasional health setback. You are an amazing man, my friend.

Tosh! Luv those BIRDS !!
A lot of things that I see FSM Forum Members build is just absolutely incredible!
Someday, when I grow up, I wish that I'll be able to do work like the members here. At least get by on or at yours and FSM Forum Members at 50% capacity!
Tanker-Builder Hey Toshi! I knew there was something about you I detected. A hidden sense of Humor! You see, I was raised around Old Country Sicilians. You'd be surprised how many times I have used the Accent to confuse folks I wish to distance! My friends know and they think it's hilarious! How about this. We both get sent to an asylum and have neighboring rooms. So we can sit and cackle and talk models all day.

Tanker-Builder Heey Toshi; Did you do that on purpose? Looks like the Bones of a very powerful Race car!

This was my hero in all things 1/32 Tamiya WWII aircraft. My number one favorite aircraft ever, and that would be Tamiya's 1/32 F4U-1 Corsair Bird Cage. Now remember this as these Tamiya's 1/32 aircraft were being produced, there was talk in the modeling world that another 1/32 would be available. All I knew was to hurry up and purchase my next Tamiya kit!
The final photo of the two Corsairs, Tamiya and the Revell was donated to the VFW. That photo made it into my very first Digital Gallery on FSM.

I need to be locked up in a insane asylum. Lol! Once I tasted Tamiya's 1/32 P-51D Mustang, that was it!!!
I was absolutely determined on my quest for all things that related to Tamiya in 1/32. I was going to legally change my name from Toshi to Tamiya!
Hey, that's funny but you know what's funnier than that? When someone comes by me to answer a question I tell them; "Oh so sorry, so sorry, me know speeku English"! See my fellow FSM Members, I Definately can get away with saying that! Lol! That's one of the reasons that I need to be in a asylum!
Once completed, I recall keeping it for six to eight months. By my house, there was a VFW very close by. I thought it over and knew that I can always build a better one with a little more experience.
So when I stopped by my local VFW and inquired if anyone wanted a Tamiya 1/32 P-51D? The bartender took me around and showed me that there was a very small area used for display's of things that veterans built, I knew then and there that, that was the right thing to do.
I also told the VFW in that if they wished to auction off the models (Yes, I donated even my Corsair) to use that money for the veterans and members of the VFW!
Your freind's, Toshi & Ezra
P.S. I did eventually purchased and built another Tamiya 1/32 P-51D Mustang. The only difference was that the entire kit was molded in Chrome. Wow, I'm surprised in that I even remembered! Lol!
The interior and engine compartment was ridicously detailed. The engine was a challenge, yet once detailed the rest of the kit went together perfectly!
Next up is a project many FSM Forum Members warned me to neither purchase and or build yet as more experience was needed to build the Tamiya P-51D Mustang. I was just too excited and wanted to see for myself what this hullabaloo was all about.
Needless to say although challenging, many of you jumped on in and was able guide me through my whole assembly process. Mistakes (Many) were made yet once completed and looking back at it, it sure was one hell of a ride!
My very first build of which was a Monogram P-40 Warhawk all dressed up as a Flying Tigers P-40. That P-40 is still in my collection.
That's one build that will stay in my collection. I used to give Mrs. Toshi's friends that I would meet from time to time and if their children showed interest in my build then It was donated to them by yours truly!
The Corsair that's next to it is another Monogram favorite of mine. As always my foldable wings would never work for me. So on goes a ice cream popcycle wooden sticks and that's my version of wing spars.
Of course I don't do that anymore, but a lesson learned in that do not use half a tube of modeling glue, you'll just get into trouble! Lol!
I found a way to save my photographs on my iPhone without utilizing my GB! And then I thought to myself let's review some of my very first build up until the Academy B-17F "Memphis Belle".
All of the models displayed are almost in chronological order per Mrs. Toshi's request. What I must do is find the box art keep all photos of my WIP and to match each one while telling a simple story line! Mrs. Toshi said this is a great exercise for myself to overcome my TBI.
