Oh heck yeah! Good to see you posting your impossibly detailed work again. Will there be any way to see any of that super intricate work you added to the back of the cockpit?! 

It also appears your graphic designs have improved since your last build. Impressive!

Glad to see you back Chuk! Sorry to hear about your troubles and glad to see you not letting it hold you back. I've enjoyed your scratch building for years and I'm still trying to clean up some of what I do. 

One question I've got is how do you typically address and fix your plumbing? Some times my methods for glueing ends together can be a bit cumbersome. 

Chuk, I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your posts and appreciate how much time you put into them.  Not only are you a phenomenal builder but very talented in how you present your posts.  They are very informative and fun.  Thanks!

Glad you like it, Mike!  It's taken me a while to get back into the swing of things since the surgery, but it's linda like riding a bicycke- after re-reading the manual. ;) The detail in the first camaptment wull be visible through the rear of the nose well. I'm pretty sure the panels on the upper fuselage were armor plate that could be screwed off, but I have no pics of that save a restoration in progress. That's why I hhaven't bother to detail out the tops of things and all the wirubg, etc that won't be seen from below.

Thanks, my friend!  Foe all that kkoky plumbing I use three things:

1. fine lead solder for curving lines that lie flat against bulkheads, etc- they get glued down with CA glue.
2. Brass wire for straight lines- it bends crispl, keeps it's shape and can be easuly soldered.
3. Abilion Alloys nesting brass tubing. Indispensible for details on the plumbing, etc- and can be used to connect two pieces of wire with a solid connection. I'll be posting some complex examples of this soon- stay tuned!

   Oh! By the way. In Honor of Shep paine I have discovered,"Creative Gizmology" works well on ships too. Modern ones, that is.

Well, friends- sit down to tale of modeling adventure, styrene feats of derring-do and cold brass tragedy... if you dare!

I think I'll put the Quickboost nacelles on both sides on mine, Chuck.  But that won't happen until the memory of the work you are doing isn't quite so recent.  It's good to know I'm not the only one putting bits on backwards!

Loving this build so far!

HI, everyone! Here at long last is Episode 4. I've been taking things slow for a variety of reasons, like family, health, work, home and garden, and friends. Modeling has taken a back seat for a couple of reasons- mostly because my *** has gone into a slump.  A big part of that was the loss of my good friend and modelling pal Matt Odom, who recently lost his 13 year battle with brain cancer. He was a brilliant 1/32 scale enthusiast, a Canadian cop and loving family man. We communicated mainly by text and sometimes, phone. It was just too much to sit at the bench and not be able to text him a pic of my newest dumb idea, or answer a question from his ever-inquisitive mind. Add in the slow recovery from my heart surgery- which included a measure of brain fog (or 'pump brain') from the heart/lung machine. To top it all off I'm developing cataracts, even as my eyesight begin to regress with age.  The latter is curable, the former demand patience and perseverance.  I'm not giving up- no way!  I'm just taking my time, and I hope to continue to keep sharing the joys and tribulations of this hobby with all my fellows around the globe- cheers!

My sincere condolences on the loss of your friend.  Good to see you posting again.
