Not many.  However, I have built two Revell 1:48 Stearman, and have a third in my stash.  I also have Roden's 1:32 version in my stash.

Also, I built a half dozen Revell sprint cars, and have a couple more in my stash.

Dang Bish! Stuka much? Surprise   Not sure why I don't have a Stuka in my collection. The B is my favorite type, with the big chin...

There should be a law agaisnt that. My favorite is the G with the big guns, but of course there are more options for the B/R versions. I'll be adding another soon, doing the Airfix 72nd B-2.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

I have multiples of various aircraft in my stash unbuilt, but aside from a pair of F-16s & P-40s, and a trio of Me-109s I do not have multiple aircraft builds... yet. Armor is another story though. I have a whole bunch of T-34s, KVs, M4 Sherman's, Panzer IV's,  M48s, M60s, M1 Abrams, M113s, T54/55s, T-72s, BRDMs, BTRs, and BMPs built.

F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!

U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!

In a previous century I was involved in a 1/35 war game. I had probably 12 Tamiya T-34s.

Four (so far) of the Tamiya F-14's. Three of them are A models, the fourth is a D done as a Air Force "what if".

Two old Hasegawa F-106's in 1/72.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

I did a Trumpeter 1/350 USS Lexington CV-2 with a full complement of USN aircraft on the flight deck, so roughly a dozen each SBD-2 Dauntless dive bombers, F4F-4 Wildcat fighters, and TBD-1 Devastator torpedo bombers.

In scales that I can actually see ... 8 P-40 Warhawks of different variants (all 1/48), 6 P-51 Mustangs of different variants (4 1/48, 2 1/32), 4 F4U Corsairs of different variants (2 1/48, 2 1/32), 4 F4F Wildcats (1 1/32, 3 1/48), 4 P-39 Airacobras (3 1/48, 1 1/32), 3 P-38 Lightnings, 3 F8F Bearcats (1 1/48, 2 1/72), 3 B-58 Hustlers (1 1/48, 1 1/72, 1/121), and 2 of a bunch of subjects such as the B-29, He111, A6M5, P-47, F-86, P-36, and Bf110.  Several more duplicates in the stash, including some of these listed above.

How many builds of the same subject do you have?
Posted by rcboater on Sunday, February 21, 2021 9:36 AM

While searching for something else, I stumbled across a 6-year old thread about how many multiples of the same subject people have in their stash.  That got me thinking.....how many have been built?

I'm currently on a 1/72 WW1 kick - doing multiple versions of the same plane to showcase the colorful schemes.  I have ten Fokker Dr.1 triplanes built, with one more under construction. (one Airfix, one Revell, 8 Eduard.)

So ten is my current high water mark, besting my old record of six 1/144 TBM Avengers for the flight deck of my RC Escort Carrier.

Here's a shot of my seven most recent triplanes..
