I am building this kit right now and have never assembled a kit this large.  My question is the logistics of painting.

1. Did you use a harness, appratus, etc...to hold the unit while painting?  If yes, what appartus or how do I build one?

OR

Is your paint booth large enough to comfortably house the plane while you paint? I have a small booth, so painting is going to be a challenge.

Appreciate any insight. Hopefully i have articulated this clearly. Thanks. Bill

Excellent! That's the same scheme I want to do with the ICM kit I have in my stash eventually. Thanks for sharing.

Nice job!  I love that scheme for a Heinkel.

That is also a notoriously difficult kit to photograph, given its size.  I built this one 5 years ago.  My wife, a great woman, suggested that I mount it in the guest bathroom that we put a bunch of my mother's French artwork (my mom went to France a few times throughout her life and brought back some ceramic plates and other artwork that she had displayed in one of her bathrooms, and to honor her, we did the same with that stuff when we inherited all of that after her passing a decade ago).  My wife thought it would be a humorous addition to the French bathroom to hang that German bomber in there.

Thank you friends.

All markings were airbrushed including the swaszi.

I also built another one in desert markings. It's hanging on my wall to save room :)

That looks stellar!  Those red spinners sets it off.  Well done.  I imagine that one takes up some shelf space!

Thanks,

John

Fantastic job! I bet that fuselage stripe was tough to get right. Nicely done.

Kit was built out of box.  I added two pilots and photo etched machine guns.

The standing pilot is from Corgi

Thanks for looking
