I don't think I've ever seen a 1/100 scale kit of this plane before. You did a whale of a job on it though. Are you going to be able to source another wing insignia decal for it?

Thanks Chris. Yeah, 1/100 is small enough to have that miniatures feel but large enough to keep some detail. It's a nice balance.

I was looking for more of the series but I think it's been discontinued. I envy you Surface.

I loved those kits - I think I still have the A-6, A-4 and A-7 waiting in my stash.  In the very, very back of my stash.

Looks good. I quite like 1/100 scale, though I only ever built one kit, a Buccaneer.

In the queue: 1/48 Beech Staggerwing (RAAF), P38 (RAAF), Vultee Vengeance (RAAF), Spitfire Vb (Malta), Spitfire VIII x2 (RAAF), P39 x2 (RAAF), Martin Baltimore (Malta?), Martin Maryland (Malta), Typhoon NF1b, Hellcat x2 (FAA)

I saw this in my local electronics/hobby store for about the price of a cup of coffee so, why not?

It's out of the box except for some epoxy putty to add the flight control hump to the cockpit and put some detail on the pilot seat which was basically just an L shape with a rectangle for the head rest. Also added the anti-collision beacon and radio vane(?) to the top of the fuselage by sanding down some part number squares from one of the sprues. They're too large but if I tried getting them any smaller I knew they'd wind up flying out of my fingers while sanding so I quite while I was ahead.

Thanks for looking.

Edit: Oh yeah, and the Air Force decal on the wing is upside down.
