Hmmm:
Two Bucks? Well let's what my money bought Very neat moldings for sure.There are only three parts missing,yay! Minor stuff at that .I am at the point of putting the wings on it! I don't know about al of you plane builders out there.Ever since I built my first plastic plane so many years ago i always put the top and Bottom together(If their not solid wings) then trim them and Glue them to the Fuselage halves.
Why do I do this? back in the day I found out if I did that to my REVELL Airliners and Bombers I always got that durned dihedral correct! So I have just always done it that way. Oh Goody! Test fit of the halves shows a possibility of minimal putty use! Buying kits like this usually result in looking for clear parts.NOPE! They are there alright and the little triangular windows nehind the cockpit on each side drop in with an absolute tight and comfy fit.
I don't know who's molds Testors used but in real life that canopy would probably be a foot and a half thick material. My gosh it's thick. I have not, if I remember correctly, ever seen a canopy in this scale this thick! I believe the kit is 1/48. I am basing it on the windspan. It says nothing about scale on the inst.and I really don't care as I just like the little dude! No Decals either,No problem I have a drawer full of NAZI decals.(I never used them because I didn't want to offend.)I got thrown out of a Show/Contest for Swastika's on the Bismark! (Small local event in the meeting hall next to a Synagogue it turns out!)
