Well mate, I don't see your image, just characters that I'm not savvy enough to decipher.

I do look forward to seeing what I assume is an RAAF "pig".

Well, that's the intension Bill. Still trying to figure out how to post pictures ... All the "how to's" I seached for ironically have lost all their photos...

Is the website a bit slow ? Seems to take forever to do anything.

... and hey presto - photos are now working...

Anyhoos, Firefox seems to be a bit quicker - so lets get on with it.

I bought the Res-Kit cockpit for the F-111, the extra detail seems pretty nice:

I'll see if I can get out to the shed tonight & get some more photos of where I'm up to... Seems I'm still on probabtion, so I'll have wait for a mod to approve my posts for now. Yes

I knew about the ones in the landfill but there also seem to be a number of the escape modules preserved.

Following with interest.

Working fine now.

This revived my interest in the F111 which I've always liked. Our member ikar was around them when they were operating from Thailand.

Thanks for the comments Bill Yes

I had an hour at the bech yesterday (Sunday) got a few little things done:

Damn fiddly things... The seat belts seem a little complicated - will see how they look after paint. Res-Kit stuff is pretty fine detail. Probably out of my capabilities TBH Stick out tongue

This could be the world's longest model build Wink

Lotsa detail in this one so far Ian. Growing up, I had a great liking to this aircraft as it's such a beautiful airframe. Looking forward to seeing more buddy. Yes

Quite a few years ago, I built a P-47 for a friend of mine who flew them. His son flew the EF-111 out of England. Another one of our club members made a model of it for him. Both models are now on his desk.

Stay safe.

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.

Nice!  Can't wait to see how your Pig turns out!  My dad was an avionics tech on another long-wing 111, the FB-111A, when I was a little kid in the 70s.  Those were kinda cool times.  Got to sit in the cockpit of the B-1A when my dad had been promoted to an avionics instructor for the B-1A program.  I think I was 5 years old at the time and still remember it.
