Whaz up DJ,
Theres a pic of this bird in the Aerofax Minigraph 5 "McDonnell F-101B/F(No.0205) and in MMA "VOODOO".
From what I can see it looks to be plain jane. I am not sure if you have this info but here I go(stop me if you have heard this
).
N-8234 (57-410)
It had some nose art of a ghost carried on both sides of the a/c. It was known as "The Gray Ghost"(off center to the rear of the wind screen. The lettering was in red.).
Right under the back canopy actually in line w/ the intake there is Ace of spades and a dagger going through the spade(again carried on both sides..)
The wing fences are painted a red and the outter lip of the intake is also painted red(scalop style (sp)).
One thing I noticed which is cool is that the bottom section of the main gear door have flames on them
.
From what I can tell it appears to be nothing on the wings at least the bottom section that is. As for the top I am not too sure. I would think(and I said think..
)that there would be no markings of any sort.
The other book shows this a/c from the left side. Where it says CSU, right under it it says SEVERE STORM RESEARCH.
I am not sure if this was applied to only the left side or was it later added.
Also to note not shown in the other book is a red Razorback on the speed brake w/ a white "A" on it.
Again was this added later on from the earlier pic that I have. Who knows??
Hope this helps ya out a lil. If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me at

Flaps up,Mike
