I recently picked up a Vacu-formed Halifax bomber kit in 1:48 scale, and was wondering who may have manufactured it. It came in the original box, plain white cardboard about 14x17x2" with no identification other than a stick on plain paper label saying what it is and that it is "kit #2".
It makes B and C versions of Marks III, VI, and VIII, but also includes the nose and rudders for earlier marks. There is no resin but a lot of white metal parts in addition to the vacuum formed sheets.
I do know the kit is British, and was supposed to have been bought new by mail order in 1997. Not sure how old it is but the decal sheet has yellowed, so it could have been around longer.
It would satisfy my curiosity if some one could shed light on who might have manufactured the kit.
Thanks and regards in advance.
