I really like the paint scheme you have chosen. It's different from the norm I see on these kits. Very nice build!

WWII German stuff usually doesn't do much for me but I like your model very much.

The factory fresh look is a nice change from the battered and weathered models we usually see. Every aircraft was factory fresh at one point in its life.

Martin, just think of it as fresh from the factory! It looks nice to me! You must have lots of space to display that thing, the 190 was a pretty robust plane. Keep up the good work, and make sure you post your results! Maybe you'll get a plane with the markings to come out

Thanks mate

No real problems, the wings were a bit tight and the engine cowl fit was ok.

The truedetails cockpit was not that hot,I found it to be very brittle and it did not quite match the kit completely

I wish I had stuck to the kit cockpit.

However I do have Eduard 1/48 FW190 A5 kit which is full of fit problems so much so

that its back in its box until I can muster up the strength to tackle the damn thing.

Looks great Martin!  I have heard there are fit problems between the cowl and the front of the wing, did you experience anything like that? Thumbs Up [tup]

Just finished today Hasegawa's 1/32 fw190 A5. No markings as I had a drama with the decals

so finished as a standard a/c of any unit. Out of the box apart from true details cockpit

Finished with tamiya paints. I was disappointed not to finish how are I wanted but still very happy with end product. I think it passes the 6 ft test

Comments are most welcome

Martin
