Winter Camo for Stuka JU 87?

Looks like it could be the same aircraft in the photo as the profile.  Shows how innacurate the profiles can be sometimes.

I did a winter camo on an Fw-190A-6 in the Feb 2008 issue of Scale Aircraft Modeller abd tried to explain the basics for application of the finish.  They are quite variable but it would give you a starting point to work from.  But I second Chris and confirm winter camo from photographic evidence or at the very least a profile in a book.

Be careful - I'd want photographic evidence that Stukas were actually used in combat in those areas during the winter months, as opposed to spring or summer. Norway especially.

This is a Stuka 87D  I did a while back. I found this unusual winter scheme off the decal set I used for it. The service was in Russia 1943-44. Instead of a white wash, white dots were sprayed over the original splinter camo. Also, check out the Wing's Palette site. They have an extensive marking/color archive.

Essentially they used the Huckleberry Finn method...white wash the upper surfaces to break up the dark camo.
