Gamera

Ok guys, here's what I bought out of Tommy's old stash, including the Marivox kit.

http://i852.photobucket.com/albums/ab85/Tempest977/Sweden%20GB/DSCN0165.jpg

Well if you build the B17, Tommy gets a share of your badge right?  Hmmmm - a floatie version in the background?? That Cant model is interesting too, always like the 3-engined Italian bombers. I've got a Sparviero on my "wanted list"...

Bsyamato: Really? I built one or two Supermodel kits back twenty years ago and haven't seen them in ages. Had no idea the stuff was getting rare though. Tommy actually had three of them in his stash, I just bought this one because I liked the camo scheme.

Vance: Yeah, I'll definatly build it in honour of Tommy, and I'll be building the floats version since it strikes me as the 'coolest' looking of the different aircraft although the one with skis is pretty cool too.

Oh, something to keep your eyes open for. I've picked up their Mosquito and Harrier issues, very good stuff. Hoping it arrives on my side of the pond shortly:

Looks like a good issue there Vance just from the cover Yes

And oh yeah, as Big-G says you can never have enough floatie things.

yep, contents say there will be some civilian stuff in there as well. Stopped at the local Indigo, no luck yet. I keep checking every couple of days, surely they won't be receiving 100s of them & I want to make sure I get mine. (That being said, they have about 10 special issues dealing with the Bristol Blenheim...?)

Yes Cliff :) the supermodel is out of business from more time than the esci. The new good sparviero from italeri is based on the old supermodel old mold updated. Right yesterday finished my first supermodel :) the re-2001!!

Why don't post some sprue shot of the good alcione?

Sure!!!

Tommy didn't take the sprues out of the bags so I didn't open them, hope you can make things out.

@Gamera

If you need pix of T-6G, let me know A mate of mine is doing a ground up rebuild of one (to add to his other 5!) and I regularly work and do painting on them. :-)

I need to do some sanding on all the seams on my JAS 39, but it is way to cold for that now (that's my story an I'mm sticking to it LOL!)

The kit one is wrong Tongue Tied but you know me, i first cut all and after i start to think about to resolve the things Embarrassed my cutter are fastest than my brain..

More than a twin viggen i see a really good idea for a sci-fi modding (naturally on a new kit)

All the forum changed, wowow!

Alright, I found a little time last night to clean up some of the weapons on my Gripen. This is a pair of anti-shipping missiles if I'm not mistaken:

I've got undercarriage & weapons from 3 different kits that will all need white paint. I'm planning on prepping all of these & spraying in one shot sometime on the weekend. (That's the plan anyway!)

Nice Vance, though the black planes with the white in the middle make me think of an Oreo cookie...

looky what I found:

Black & white paint applied to an airframe that was sent to a testing unit of some sort, easier to evaluate film that way...

Maybe it was their "Police Car" special for chasing speeders?

HiVance,

I'd like to change my entry to a 1/72 Hasegawa Draken, rather than a 1/48 one please. This is it.

Cheers

Tony
