I've heard that Revell Germany might be working on a big, 1/32, kit of the magister.

I'm still pluging away at both cockpits for my Trumpeter kit.

I'll leave you on the list in case you change your mind. Only about half of GB members complete the builds on time. 

The kit cockpit is done.

The rear panel is shifted a bit, I'll try and correct that.

The gear wells locators are very well engineered.

No glue is really needed, they are held really tightly.

Question. I'm still up in the air on the markings for my Magister. Patrouille de France is a possibility. Anyone know a Tamiya color or mix for the blue 15180 is the fs number.

Edit. Just found something that says xf-8 is 15183. Close enough

So today was my day off from my essential  job.  I actually was able to finish the little Magister.  It's not perfect. But it'll do in the display.  Done as a fledgling German Luftwaffe trainer in the late 50's. Had a lot of fun with this. Didn't sweat the small stuff

Working on the seams of the T-38 now. They are not too bad.

The Majister certainly looks goodenuf from here, John.

Hey mach71,

I have a question about getting in on this GB. I found a couple of started SR-71s at a garage sale that are in different states of completion/disrepair. One of them is a -B model. My goal is to do what I can to restore/finish the bith of them. The problem is, rhe -B might break the rule number 4; Any build, kit/kitbash/scratch build as long as it's less than 50% complete at the start. 

Is it too far along for this GB?

Back to work on my T-38!

The wings/Stabilizers are on.

I've started to do some detail painting.

The gear doors and nose gear are on.

And getting the main gear ready.

2 coats of primer.

The under wing seams are proving to be a pain.

First build post from me of the Me 262.

I am adding an Eduard PE set which is designed for the Revell kit but seems to be fitting this well. The pit wnet together quickly, i used the kit decals for the side instruments as tehre was no PE for those bits. The kit seats have been completly replaced with PE.

The pit was then fitted and the fuselage put together.

And the wings were added.

I am building this alongside another aircraft and my S-100 boat so it won't go together as quick as it could, but i hope to have another update soon.

Those seats look pretty good, Martin.

It's coming together nicely, Mach 71.  Those underwing seams might be a candidate for epoxy putty like Milliput and a wet finger.

Bish, your 262 looks great! The cockpit is outstanding!

I've been working the seams on the under wing of the T-38. Not much is really working well. I tried Aves putty and thined white putty. I might have to live with them.

I've also been working on a small T-37 I found in my stash. It's a 1/72 Hasegawa kit that is missing the instructions.

The big parts are on.

I'm thinking about a possable diorama with both aircraft.

Yah, It's from the Hasegawa 1/48 USAF ground crew set.

I would like to add the Revell of Germany Bae Hawk T.1 to my list.  Since I'm working at at home during this covid business this one jumped out of the pile sitting on my work bench

Canopy masking time!

Having to mask a canopy by hand really makes me appreciate a nice pre cut mask!
