Just think of the possibilities.  Especially if we build biplanes!!!

Here's something to wet your appetite.  Just four parts and eyestrain under the magnifier while painting.

The least you could have done was leave the canopies open so we could see some of that cockpit detail.......Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

You know, at the suggestion of another member I thought about cutting out the cockpits and replacing the cuts with clear plastic but I decided that I was begin absurd.  I also toyed with the idea of buying a 1/700 PE detail set for the aircraft by I decided again to stay sane, although the cats will be replaced on the ship with PE.

Bondoman - Is there a 1/700 scale MARS out there or are you suggesting that you're going to scratch build one??

This whole idea was really more of a gag than anything else which is why the idea has been largely ignored by the other readers.

I've got a drawer full of 1/700 a/c left over from aircraft carriers I've built in the past.

dcaponell,

To do this right, you should almost limit it to biplanes. Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

These were for the USS Saratoga (CV-3) that I built earlier this year, with thirty-three planes total (talk about testing ones patience and sanity).  I do appreciate the sense of humor though.
