Pacific war GB?
Posted by falschimjager on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 9:56 PM
Just curious on how far a pacific front GB might go? I hardly see any (other than aircraft) pacific war models, and i feel it needs to be represented better.

Maybe start for next year. I know at this point I have too many going and cant join anymore but would love to do a PTO subject next year.

I'm always interested in this topic, but my opinion is the subject is way to broad. To really bring focus/communication to the GB it might be a good idea to narrow it down a bit (i.e. Japanese Planes and Armor or Island Hopping or a single battle such a Guadalcanal, etc.). Just my 2 cents. either way, I;'m interested.,

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] Narrow down the topic, and wait to a later time. Currently their's way too many GB's going on.

I like the idea of a 'wide open' PTO GB-gives builders a bit more flexibility of plane & markings/armour/ship that they can utilize.  However, I do agree that the GB schedule is a bit heavy at the moment, but there's nothing wrong with determining interest and then setting the rules & timeline.

Good luck.

I'd be interested after I get a couple others wound down.

PTO armor, any participant, sounds good. Maybe include CBI?

I had been kicking around the idea of a Guadalcanal Campaign GB for next year for the time period of Aug thru Feb but a Pacific wide armor build would be great too.
