B17 she's a looker for sure!!! Well Done!!! I agree about the Pratt's, or at least GE's! I have a book called Air Freighters, and in there they have many pics of the C-46's used in La Paz, Bolivia. One of the captions said, When operating at these altitudes with heavy loads, you have to trust in God and Pratt & Whitney! Lol I thought that was great!
Goodness180 Looks awsome!!!! To bad they have been having engine troubls. If they had Pratt and Whitney engines instead of Rolls Royce they wouldnt have that problem lol!!!

So interesting thought when I was looking at these pics, does a piece of the windshield recess down when the nose tilts like that for landing???? Reason i ask is looks like its a section of windshild their on top. from the second picture it looks like it goes back up when in flight.

BUT I am by no means an expert on this. So if i am incorrect please dont yell at me. :)
hmmm ok interesting... you can try www.airliners.net they have tone's of pics of concorde's you very well may be able to find something their. I will poke around a little more to too help you out.
thanks for the help mate what im after is the if you look top down on the plane with its nose in landing config what do you see through the main windscreen in front of the cockpit

Eatthis: found this article... not sure if this is what your looking for... also found this pic, thought it was cool :) Bad day but Cool. My dad works up at Bangor International Airport, (Central Maine) and he has seen something simular to this except the concorde was on the ground.
Ehhhh litle late now... allready got frustrated with it and took a crash landing into the trash and hit turbulance on the way.
Eatthis: wish i could help you but I have never built a concord, will try and find some pics to help you out though.
im stuck on my concorde what colour do i paint the inside of the nose?
I wouldn't throw it away. If paint stripper didn't work, try sanding the paint out or possibly smooth enough for another coat to cover the first one. My 380 took three coats of white before it was to my liking.
Hey all. I am bowing out of this group build. Kind of messed up my A380 when i went to air brush the white on and some how it ended up looking like a spiders web and when i tryed to clean it up and strip it back down, it wouldnt come off. Soooo it went to the trash. Thanks all maybe next time around
Hey all!!! Got a lot done in last week on my kit, but un fortunatlly my computer died too. So untill thats better I am staying connected to the modeling world from work and wont be able to post pics till next week some time. But going to start doing some masking in preperation for paint on friday. But hope to have a computer back soon.
Ok thanks. The only problem is i have never done a wash before and this was my first time useing dry brush. soooo ya how do you go about makeing a wash????
Good, I would just go over the cones with a wash of dark gray or black to tone it down a bit is all. They would be a burnt iron color as that is the 'hot' part of the engine. Looking good mate!!!!
Hey all got some pics for you. The photo quality is not great and i apoligize for this. So here is pics from start to were I am now.
The pics above are of them still on the sprue's and before anything is done.
Attempted some drybrushing on these engine components. and im not sure if the poited cones on the end are supposed to be that color but i liked it. Its like a 70% steal 30% rust color mix. I may have gone to heavy on the rust color though.
And again i apoligize on the light quality and picture size. some pics may be small.
The windows are decals, including the front windshield. The Qantas decal set had the windows specific to Qantas so I used them. Each airline has a different arrangement of windows, so I filled in the generic ones and used the ones from the decal set, good thing to cause I saw that some of the ones I filled in weren't covered by the decals (though you have to get like two inches from the model to see the filled in ones).
So i saw earlier on that you puttied the windows right? Now in your latest pic here are those decals? Or painted? I am pondering putting my windows as well and just using the decals maybe???
WOW!!!! That looks amazing. I can only hope mine will look that good. Probably wont even bee close.
B17 she looks great mate!!!! VERY VERY NIIIICCCCEEEE!!!!!
Goodness180 - Enjoy your build of the A380! I've enjoyed mine.
Speaking of mine, I got mine all decaled and the small stuff added. When everything has dried a semi-gloss coat and a little weathering will finish the body up. Next up the engines.
Here she is all decaled up:
Wahooo. Finally got my A380 kit in today. Looks like its going to be fun. This will be my first Passenger air liner kit ever. I have stuck to U.S. fighter air craft up till today. Will post some pics tomarrow.
Haha will do my best. Yours sounds pretty big as well. No the plan is im going to try and sell them through work for right now. Maybe they will be a hit. who knows. But im all so going to do military, C-17, F-16, F-35, F-22 and so on.
Goodness180 Yes that is the plan. I work for Pratt & Whitney in Maine and I am planning on making a hole line of Aircraft that has Pratt engines on them.

man i thought my plan of doing all the Boeing airliners would be big, followed by all the variants of the 737, but that plan of yours is huge. Good luck on it! Definitely want to see all of them!
Yea I would say to the build. Glad to have another A380 going on. You going to leave it in first flight livery?
Hello,
Was woundering if i could join the group build??? I just ordered the Revell Germany 1/144 Airbus A380 First Flight. It should arrive here at my house September 22. Any chances i could join in???
Good save B17!!! She's looking good to say the least!!!!!!
