The flight deck is on! I have filled the seams since this photo was taken.  Now onto the little parts around the catwalks.

Wow Ray, that sounds like a horrific crash. So glad you are still with us. You are one lucky guy.

Hopefully you will heal quickly and get back to the modeling bench soon.

Take Care, Jerry

More excuses for not posting here for a while.  In early March I had a bad accident on the way to work.

Luckily, the only one hurt was me.  I hit a patch of black ice and went off the road.  I live in the mountains

and the place I went off the road has no guardrails.  I cut a 12" diameter pine tree in half, rolled upside down

and dropped 40 feet to the rocks below landing on my vehicle's roof.  I'm a lucky, lucky boy in that all I suffered

was a badly damaged shoulder and about a pound of broken glass imbedded in various parts of my body.

Of course, bruises EVERYWHERE!  Thank God for seatbelts and airbags or I'd be pushing up daisies.

The State Trooper who investigated said he'd never seen one smashed up as badly as mine that anyone had

gotten out of.

Ray

Stik and Raider- Your ships are really looking great....nice work.

Raider- Glad your finger is on the mend.

To All- I painted some yellow on the Emden on Friday and took it to the IPMS meeting on Saturday. I sprayed a bit heavy in a couple of areas and need to clean up some runs.  Also, some touch-up of the white is needed.     All in all I am pleased with the masking job on the hull sides.

I am still working on the injector pin holes in the whale boats and steam pinace. Getting closer to calling them repaired though some work is still required.

Cheers, Jerry

More progress on my Graf Spee this weeeknd. I did touch ups on the small part sneeding that, washes on the superstructures and glued the lower superstructures to the main deck.
