I saw them at Winterland, in San Fransisco.......around '76, I think. Never followed them though.

What in the world is a Deadhead or a Dead fan?

I would assume the Grateful Dead.......could be wrong though.

Kevin you would be Correct!!!

PritMar, We are a group of people that enjoy listening, dancing, and/or have followed them. By following them I mean going from town to town to see them ie: I followed them for two years straight all over the country. I fixed VW Buses as a means to sustain my travels, others sold jewelry, food, Tie-dyes (of which I still make my living by vending at street and music festivals), and other items. We generally prefer to solve problems without violence and live a peaceful lifestyle. We Smile a lot and have a happy outlook on life. We also listen to a lot of music by The Grateful Dead as they rarely played the same song the same way twice, a lot of the music was improv, and they were know as a touring band more than a studio band, NO Two shows were the same ie; they didn't play the same show and just change the name of the city they were playin' in to make it different, they were different every night even playin' 5 nights in a row at the same venue. I hope this helps.

I just thought it would be fun to see how many of them were model builders as it is not a subject associated with us., especially if we build war implements, muscle cars, and the like.

Deadhead Group Build interest?

I would like to start a Group Build for Deadheads who build models. This will be open to All Dead fans who build any type of model. No matter what you build, be it auto, tank, plane or ship. This is to be a build to bring the Dead fan community together and talk models. Being from a rural area there are not a lot of model builders and even fewer Dead fans so I come to this place to join both and meet other like minded Folks. So if there is an interest enough lets Beat It On Down The Line!!!!!
