I wish my modeling skills were a lot more advanced, it'd be cool to make a dio from that pic.
SB2Us were part of the Marine Air Wing based at Ewa Field. Along with the SBD-1s they were wiped out on the ground.

ww2psycho If someone besides revell makes a P-40 from Pearl Harbor, I'll build it, just not a fan of the revell one.

In 1/48 for a P-40B there is the old Monogram kit currently isued by Revell, the newer Hobbycraft kit currently out under the Academy label, and a Trumpeter kit. The Monogrm kit actually captures the lines of the nose best, but the other two have newer style tooling with recessed exterior detail and better wheel wells and cockpits.
Ok i updated the roster. i might be doing a 1:48 P-40b warhawk, they're my favourite planes.
Hey, Im changing my model. I got this on Ebay. Im not sure if I will do both or one. Time will tell if I can do both.

Hasegawa 1/72 B5N2 Nate: Hiryu Gp PH 1941.
Fujimi 1/72 Aichi Type 99 Val: PH markings?

If I remember correctly, Accurate Miniatures did a Pearl Harbor SBD. I might try to find one and do that. Ive got a little less than 6 months to figure it out :P

you gonna make an official thread once it gets closer? Oh, and FYI, the forum doesnt like quotation marks, and adds amp;amp;amp; on all the titles. Lets not put those on any more posts, k?
