If gaming figures (28mm) are ok by you I've got a few I could paint up as characters from Dragon Age, Fallout III, Mass Effect, and a few other games.

King: You might want to throw up a feeler thread on the SF and figure forums. Some of the people who might be interested may not look at this forum regularly.

the only game-skins Im familiar with are the ace combat series. Those require custom decals though, which might be a limiting factor if others (like me) don't have the know-how/equipment to make custom markings....other than that I'd love to jump in! The Ace Combat series has some lovely paint schemes (can you say Razgriz?)  Stick out tongue

Now that I'm here, where am I??

Does it have to be as it appeared in-game, or can we do a what-if type scheme? (e.g. I painted an M2A2 as a Trust vehicle from "the Conduit 2", even though there wasn't any Trust armor in the game)

Will follow this GB.Captain

I might be interested in joining, thinking about making a monster from one of the Silent Hill games.

This is a group build for video game models. Any models, any subjects, any scale. Must resemble the model exactly as it appeared in the video game. Details will be posted later.

About 10 years ago, I used to play an online game called Fighter Ace. I used to try to build some of the WW2 aircraft in their "proper" in-game markings. The in-game markings were often incorrect for the variant being depicted. For instance, the Spitfire Mk XIVe used the same in-game markings as the Spitfire Mk V and Mk IX; all three of which wore the markings of the Spitfire IX flown by Johnnie Johnson.

Anyway, I had a lot of fun building that Spitfire XIVe. I had to swipe the markings from the Occidental Spitfire IX, wings from an Academy Spitfire XIVc and the bubbletop fuselage from the Academy Spitfire XIVe. Fortunately, I was able to place the XIVe wings with the XIVc fuselage and still have a complete aircraft model.

Will this GB allow subjects from any gaming platform (PS3, Wii, Xbox, PC, online games, etc.)? One of my sons plays Star Wars The Power of the Force on PS3 and I really like some of the extended universe vehicles.

I'd say it's dead unless someone picks up the mantle. Newbie comes to site, starts a group build, disappears, happens all the time.

Unless anyone else wants to, I'd be happy to take over the group build. Unless the original poster comes back.

Is this group build a go or a no-go? If it's a go I'm thinking of Jack Archer's YF-1R from Robotech: Battlecry, if that's acceptable.

King: I'll toss in this figure if it works for you. I picked the photo off the company website, they come unpainted though I've already primed this one with an overall coat of white.

Figure will be painted as Lelianna from 'Dragon Age: Origins'. Not an exact match but I think it's reasonably close if ok by you.

Here's what i'll be doing

308px-SH2LyingFigure:

Figure will be 1/35 I'll probably use a soldier for the base and sculpt all the detail with epoxy putty.

i was going to do the Challenger from the game 'Driver: San Francisco', but when my game arrived, it included a model of it already

it's about 1/32 scale and has no interior, but otherwise a nice bonus. The game was good too.
