Nice Crusader Ed, well done on the build. Really sharp masking.
Cheers
Tony
I'm just taking it one GB at a time.
So here it is and I still haven't found a Y to match and I have to fix one of the 100s. Maybe I'll decide to hang something from the wing pylons.
Noticed that I also have to repaint the intake white but that's OK for now.
On Ed's bench, ???
And I don't think our host will be joining us much if at all. There is a Do 335 GB running wayne.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
On the bench: Airfix 1/72nd Harrier GR.3/Fujimi 1/72nd Ju 87D-3
End of September.
would a DO-335 qualify. one could argue, albeit it weakly, that the wing is special because it is a 2 engine airplane with no engines on the wing. when is the end date as i have a DO-229 in the bunker stash?

Not much left to go but I have to scrounge up a Y decal.
Have most of the painting done.
Had some problems like losing the wings, losing the instruction and forgetting which decals I was going to use. The decal thing affected the tail and nose color.
Nice work so far 68GT! :)
This will probably be one of last posts here,You get till the end of the month indeed if that is enough time.I guess I will make this Group Build run till you're done, take your time, don't rush it, but don't slack either! :)
I'm not gonna lengthen this, maybe I will run a Wingdings 2.0 GB at SPA modeler (that's where I'm now) but when your build is done, this one will be closed! :) (I don't like for ever ongoing GB's)
Keep on doing what you're doing now, looks very good! With regards, Ninetalis.
I'll be looking forward to seeing it 68GT, I guess I was justifying why I didn't get mine done.
Enjoy the build.
Figured that I started it and that I would finish the build. Says Sept of 2013 so I figured that I have the month.
Nice work 68GT.
I didn't start my Panther because I thought that this GB had gone cold. Glad to see that you are progressing the Crusader though.
Regards
Not much but its something.
Some sanding of the F-8 and some white paint.
I got back to the F-8 with cementing the nose on and applying putty to the seam.
I'm also just about to start a Grumman X-29 so I figured I could post the progress of that here as well.
That's an interesting 162 Clemens.
The 162 is already in my stash, but I still have to find the Komet...
Nice to see you back Nine. I thought we had lost you completely to the other place as well.
Sure you can join, why not? :)
I haven't been online for a while but I would like to see you finish those models!
With regards, Ninetalis.
Thank you very much, but the seller wont send it to Europe...
I just saw that kit listed on ebay with a Ta 152. Do a search for "Ta 152 H-1 and Me 163 B Komet"
I just had a brief look through this thread and there are some really nice models in here!
I would like to join as well if the GB is still running...
I have (hopefully) 2 planes to build for this one. Thy are both made by Dragon and in 1/48th scale:
A He-162 with those nice forward-swept wings:
and one of those cute little Komets (I hope I can get my hands on it at least):
Any tipps on finding a kit for the Komet?
Cheers, Clemens
thanks guys!

Now that I'm here, where am I??
CallSignOWL Like a dummkopf, I completely forgot about this GB and that I had entered my F-8 in it. Here is my build so far:

Don't worry, forgetting things is humane.Nice wiring, must have watched over this one in your previous thread. With regards, Ninetalis.
Owl,
I think you've made great progress. Just give it some time and think about what you want to do. Maybe a different approach. You'll figure it out.
Gary
then I got hung-up on the painting--my Airbrush kept giving me fits. So I got the build to where it was acceptable and called it quits for a bit. Didnt want to sent it on a one-way flight, you know? Ill come back to it in a little bit, with fresh eyes and new determination.
I actually got started and assembled the cockpit and fuselage.
Eathis - look forward to your lightning
