LTV A-7 Corsair II GB Feeler

If you do not get enough iterest here, you can piggyback your A-7 onto the Ground Attack GB.

Too bad I finished mine a few months ago...

The A-7 is my favourite military jet and I've managed to build eleven 1/72 A-7's so far ;

Another eleven in the stash ;

I recently picked up some nice Bicentennial markings for a USAF A-7D ;

And xtradecal has a nice sheet  for the TA-7C ;

I like the NWAC China Lake TA-7C markings with the pirates on the tail fin .

So I'm definitly in , even if it's only two of us !

Helo in your opinion what's the more equiibated kit in price/quality between hobby boss italeri and fujimi? i'm thinkin to get a fujimi but not soon.

Bsyamato , untill the arrivial of the Hobby Boss A-7 , the Fujimi kit was probably the best option .

Fujimi's kit , left-front in the pic above has a nice intake trunking but sometimes their decals can be quite brittle and easierly tear apart while trying to position them which can be really frustrating .

Heller's , left-back also has a intake trunking and a folded wing option but the cockpit is sparce and the underwing fuel tank is too skinning in shape .

Italeri's , right-front is okay ; However you have to be carefully with the left side main landing gear strut when glueing it into position ,

If you push the strut all the way into the locating hole the aircraft will end up sitting with a slight lean to one side .

Hasegawa's kit , right-back in the first pic I posted  is a little old in the tooth like the heller kit but does have the nice feature of posing the speed brake slightly open underneath ,

I'm yet to build a Hobby Boss A-7 and it looks to be the pick of the bunch

There's avionics bays open on both fuselage halves , intake trunking and a nice cockpit . Wolfpack have a nice set of folded wings available for the Hobby Boss A-7  and there's lot's of decals out there as well .

I just ordered another three Hobby Boss TA-7C kits as I like quite a lot of those markings on the xtradecal TA-7C decal sheet .

Actually I thought it was 1/48 scale when you posted the pic a few days ago , I didn't realize untill now it was 1/72 .

Very nicely done indeed .

It's really tempting to start an A-7 build but my workbench is already full with on-going builds . Mmmmm ,

where can I set up another table ???

 I have to say it was the first Hobby Boss kit I have built and the amount of detail was very nice and the thing went together very nice and the decals acted as one would expect. I would not hesitate to build another one. The only area that I found needed a little help was the pit. I use a resin seat, but other than that OOB.
