There seems to be a lot of love of seaplanes going around at the moment, and with summer right around the corner (okay, it's pretty much already arrived here in Texas), well, a floatie thingie GB seems like it could be a lot of fun.
I'm thinking I'd keep it short - May 1 through September 30. Open to all craft that 1) fly and 2) can land on water as part of their design. Kingfishers, Catalinas and Rufes, oh my!
If there are enough takers, I'll set it up and then start agonizing over which seaplane I'll build...

I'm thinking a P47 was a bit of a heavyweight for a float option... are what-if's allowed?!?!

Sure!
I'm very interested, but no way I could make that time frame. I'll keep an eye on this one.
Ohhh man I just commited tot he Air Fix GB. I build so slow that I can only do one GB at a time. If I finish up with that other one I will be back to sign up.

But they did on a C47/DC3!
I LOVE seaplanes! I'm thinking about this one, but have a TON of unfinished projects to deal with.
