Joining group builds is one of the best ways to get into this hobby, interact with other modelers and get through all those kits in the stash.

Yeah you can just post on the group build thread you want to join which is usually enough.

In terms of keeping track of people's work, the idea of the group build thread is for people to post pictures/updates of what they are working on. This is easier said than done though because not everyone likes to keep a camera handy when they are working, and sometimes uploading those photos can be a pain as well, as well as a host of other reasons.

Joining up just takes letting the host know that you want in and waiting for them to acknowledge and add your name to the list.

Hi folks. I keep checking about all these GB's going on and have never done one. What is required to join one and also how do you track progress of peoples work?
