taxtp

I'd love another 1/72 o'mania in 2014. I've got a lot of plans this year that don't quite fit other GBs.

Are there any plans ? This one has been great.

Cheers

Tony

For sure! I will get a fresh thread started soon. For those of you that are not finished just transfer over to the new GB.

eatthis, nice looking F-20, you certainly have a thing for those Atlantis builds.

Theuns, looking forward to the MiG, I am still waiting out on the Eduard release.

Tony, I haven't seen our host around for a while. I would certainly be up for another one of these later in the year, hopefully he will be back at some point.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

during the 80s atlantia realized they would benefit from a small well rounded fighter aircraft. they evaluated both the f16 and the mig 29 and found both good but slightly limited.

then they were approached by northrop with their recently binned f20 tigershark and decided to buy the plans/design wholesale.

then they set about improving it making it a delta increased range and weaponload considerably. coupled with an atlantian engine compact yet powerfull (~24,000 lb thrust in reheat) made this light fighter an excellent performer.

here is another one, zhengdfou T-72M. actually turned out better than i thought. it was built for the 48 hour GB so a tad rough in spots but my best pin wash to date. some lower hull dusting with pastels,

I've been absent for awhile.  This past weekend the decals were put on the Dauntless and Wildcat. Hope to be done this weekend.  John

That's a great looking plane, Eagle.  Love the colors.  Never knew the Russian air force was so aesthetic!  Nice job on the weathering, too.

68GT:  that's a very sharp looking craft.  The striping and paint work are outstanding.

I haven't looked in recently, since I was finishing a ship for the Pearl Harbor GB.  I see I've missed a lot.

Thanks checkmate!  Took me long enough to get the decals.  Had to wait for a good deal.  Couldn't see spending a lot on 1/72 decals!  Embarrassed

Everyone has some great looking builds I see! I have been monitoring this thread through e-mail. I'm making my return to posting regularly this winter after school calms down a bit. Also I have been a bit caught up in dirt bikes here lately. I just started on another diorama :O I still need to finish my F-8 for the Vietnam Air War GB. Updates will be up soon... maybe :)

One Revell and one Academy.  So far the Academy is winning hands down.

Damn that is one sleek lookning aerie that X29, very well done!

Just as a matter of interest to folks who like 1/72 P/F-51 Mustprangs, I am busy with one in the Latin American GB and it is truly one of the best Airfix kits in this scale to date, highly recomended.
