GROUP BUILD LIST
Posted by waynec on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 9:39 AM
i am in numerous GBs and keeping track of them can be annoying. i am proposing a GB post, run by moi, that would list every GB, start date, end date, and have a link. i would add the badge on the page when one is created. i could even have a list pf proposed GBs. comments welcome.

isn't that kind of redundant....we already have the group builds themselves - all you have to do is go to the first page of each to see the dates and badges.  This would be just another thread that gets in the way of the real GB threads and pushing less active off the front page.

To keep track of GBs I'm involved with I write them down, with dates and pin them on a cork board next to my work desk.

just my 2-rubles worth....

hey 64

thanks for the input. i have done the list on a white board and on a 3x5 card but they don't get updated and misplaced plus i van never get the pins to stay in the concrete walls of the model bunker. i have GBs i forgot i was in because they run a year and my interests changed or they start off fast and fade and end up on page 6. i agree the badges aren't necessary.

had another thought while working on baswe building demo

new folks may not know what GBs are available especially older ones. you and i and bish and some others keep rather current but not everyone.

i can list them by major category like the model subjects and post something once a week or so to keep it near the front.

new folks can just scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit the next numbered page.....with any luck this thread will hopefully get pushed OFF of page 1 where it will die. Dead
