Just started reading the new issue and enjoyed the HVGB. It was fun and good to see everyone's build in the magazine. Thank you Tim and Aaron for running another great GB.

I was delighted to see the article in FSM Magazine when it arrived. Great fun to see familiar names (and your fine work) in print.

Great work, gents and I think it is great that Tim and Aaron did this!

My thanks also to Tim and Aaron for hosting, and to all you guys for the great learning experience, awesome tips and advice, and much good humor. It was great fun to participate, and the gallery in FSM was just (much appreciated) icing on the cake. Hope to join another GB real soon.

I've been away for a bit and couldn't stand it that my November copy was in the mailbox and I'm 1200 miles from it…and no computer.

My copy arrived the other day too, great work all around! Great bunch of folks to build with and I learned more than a few things too!

Thanks Sprue. It was a real pleasure to be able to build my first large scale figure and do it amongst some awesome builds. Some of the builds were just outstanding and I was especially impressed with Tim's and Jacks, mainly down to their ability to display so much flesh and do it superbly.

Just the my digital copy of the Nov FSM.  Another great FSM GB spread for another a great FSM GB.  (wish I had had the time for the Orphaned Armor GB) I hadn't looked at this thread in ages and it was a pleasant reminder of the all fantastic builds that came out of this group.  Well done all.

Tim: The base was kinda a necessity since with the more dynamic pose this figure needs it to keep from tipping over.

Jack: I'm going to have to go back and look at the figure. I think what you're seeing is how I painted the fingers and how the light falls. I can see it too, weird...

Great job on the Romulan!  

I think the green works fine around the eyes, if anything it adds a splash of colour.  Also learned something new, I had no idea Romulans had six fingers.

I love it! The base is a great addition.

The eyes proved to be a bold choice, and it pays off. I'd like to think that in the future, ST developers would consider tinting the eyes of actors playing Romulans and Vulcans to look like this. It makes sense. I think that your hesitancy accepting how they look is that they do look alien. We aren't used to seeing eyes through which green blood courses.

Well a month late and some dollars short... finished the second figure two weeks or so after the deadline but had a guy in our club take some better photos. Then he took a while to get these photos to me. So anyway here's Geometric Designs Romulan. Pretty happy with the figure except for the greens of her eyes- sounded good on paper, not sure how it looks on the real thing.Fairly happy with how the scratchbuild replacement hand disruptor came out though.

GMorrison - Well done! I love the working lamp. I've never built a kit and lighted it before. It is now on the "not too far down the road" list.

Thanks for the close-ups GM, love the extra detail you put in there.

Oh and the headlight is a very nice touch. Is it possible to photoshop an underwater theme around him?

I would love to "sea" that.

You know I think we miss a lot in these photos unless theres a closeup, Nemo looks amazing. I would really like to see everybody submit more finished and close up shots when they call them ready. For example Nemo's base is perfect and all the detail just pops on this close up.

Love this build, one of my favorite books and author.
