World War I Group Build?
Posted by greentracker98 on Sunday, September 15, 2013 10:49 AM

I've already got my hands full, but next year is the 100 year aniversary of the begining of World War 1.

Hint Hint

Here is a time line of the begining.

1914

•June 28 - Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir to Austria-Hungary's throne, and his wife, Sophie, are assassinated by Serbian nationalist Gavrilo Princip while the couple were visiting Sarajevo.

•July 28 - Austria-Hungary declares war on Serbia.

•August 1 - Germany declares war on Russia.

There's been a few in the last year. I'd suggest that it be focused a little.

Airplanes and ships get done often.

How about figures? Or armor?

I have too many irons in the fire already, so, I'm hoping someone will pick this GB up and run with it. However, I will build something for ir it. I like the idea of the figures. I'm still not that good at them.

OK I do have the Scharnhorst. Sunk at the Battle of the Falkland Islands December 8, 1914.

It's the Combrig 1/350 resin kit.
