Matt, anyone can create a GB when ever they like. But I would strongly advise looking at what other GB's are on going and coming up and consider the timing and also to plan it. To often GB's are started on a whim without any thought.

Thunderbolt is planning a German Night Fighter GB as part of the Reich defence series. The last one, ran last year, was a Ground Attack Gb for German aircraft.

I second TarnShip: GROUND ATTACK it is! I didn't know I had the authority to create a GB, That's awesome.

BISH Please inform me on the upcoming night fighter build. I must have overlooked it. Those are probably my most favorite planes!

Matt, there are plans for a Night Fighter GB later this year. There are a lot of GB's running at the moment, though you are right, some of them are due to end soon, but most go on to the end of the year or into next year.

I am a huge fan of GB's and all my builds in the last 6 years and been for GB's. But my own view is that at times we can have to many. Last year we were almost a site wholly dedicated to GB's with few WiP threads. And I think to many GB's water things down and you find people committing to GB's who can't possibly do their builds or rushing to finish in time. Personally, I would rather see a few less GB's and the ones that are running better planned and though about. But that just my own view of course.

And if you really want to do a certain build, you could do a WiP thread if there are no GB's running. You may well get more views and comments and it pens it up to a wider audience.

We have had ground attack and bomber related GB's in the last couple of years.

Matt, if you start up a Ground Attack group build, I will join it. (possibly with many, many A-?? over a year's time)

I don't know how to do the FSM badge deal on here, but, I am sure we can get someone to help with that.

I jut got back into modeling and this whole "group build" thing is so fun and entertaining.
I think it is time for the ones with the power to make some new GBs
IE: Night fighters, ground attack, bombers, stuff like that that's really cool!
I love this community by the way! I just hate having models I cant even enter into GBs.
