If there is still room/time, I'd be interested in joining.  I have the Eduard Fw 190A-4 and a an entire shelf of Eduard 109s to pick from.

Plently of time and room stu, we are just getting started! You can find the main thread in the Group Build section. I like the sound of a shelf full of Eduard 109's!

I've stayed out of GBs for a little while, but yeah, I'd like to do this one. I don't know which way I'll go with the subject just yet, but I can confirm it will be a 109 or 190, in either 1/72, 1/48 or 1/32. I'm good to exclude 1/24 and 1/144 at this stage. LOL.

Cheers

Tony

I'm just taking it one GB at a time.

This might be sacrilegious, but I don't have a 109 or 190 on my display shelves. Depending on how things go with my other group builds I'll have to remedy that here.

I think you should indeed. Hmm

It seems like it's been decided for me then. Wink

We will forgive you this silentbob but your penance is to build one of eachWink

Hmmm...one of each? I'll attempt it depending on when I can get started.  I have two kits on deck after my X-Wing diorama.  I'll start with the 1/48 Tamiya Bf109E-3.  If I have enough time I'll take a look at the 190s I have and pick one of those.

I was only planning one German aircraft next year, but i can't let a German aircraft go by and not take part. So i will do some shuffeling and you can count me in.

I think the number of current GB's is much better than it was a while back, so no, i don't think we have to many. Just about right IMHO.

Are feeling okay Bish?...just ONE German aircraft in 2018. Man what is going on?! Next your going to tell me there is no Santa Claus LOL Wink

Well, just one in 72nd. With my growing modern British aircraft collection and my Norfolk aircfields colection getting pretty big, i am trying to spread myself out a bit more. But don't worry, i have not gone completly mad. Last year i went 6 months with bulding a German aircraft of any sort, but i make up for it Wink

I remember reading you were going to devote sometime to British aircraft. I look forward to seeing your builds. I'm sure Chancellor Merkel will understand

As shocking as this may seem, and despite having several in the stash, i have never built a Tamiya aircraft kit. So this will be a first for me as i'll be contributing with the 72nd 109E-3.

Hey Bish,

I am no expert by no means...but the half track I am building right now is my 3rd Tamiya kit. The first two being 1/48 scale Japanese Zero's the fit and instructions were great in the aircraft builds. I know you will have absolutely no issues building this aircraft. As always, I can't wait to see what you do with her.

O, i have built plenty of their armour kits, just not aircraft. And everything i read says they are just brilliant kits.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Nice!  I'd definitely be in on this one.  I'd commit to building the new Eduard 1/48 Fw-190 A4 once it hits my mailbox.

Pride of the Luftwaffe GB Feeler
Posted by rooster513 on Monday, October 2, 2017 2:53 PM

Hi all! The Thunderbolt GB that I've been running has recently finished up and I was thinking on another I could host. I've recently got into building more German aircraft, namely the Fw190 & Bf109. I know particapation in GB's for these particular aircraft has been VERY high in the past and it's been a few years since either has been done. So the decision...which one to do? After some discussion with my friend Joe aka mustang1989 (I put your name here Joe to share any blame for what might be unleased with a GB like this lol) and I've decided if one is good then both would be better!

So the GB would be open to any and all variants of the Fw190 and Bf109. Any scale. Any aftermarket. Anything I'm missing?Big Smile Run date would probably start in a couple of weeks and would plan on running for 1 year depending on participation.

This is just a feeler so I'm open to any suggestions. Not sure if people feel there are too many GB out there running already?

I've also started a feeler in the Aircraft section so responding to either one will work for me.
