Interceptor GB FEELER
Posted by 68GT on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 8:17 AM

Any interest in an Interceptor GB.  I know the line would be fuzzy on this but figured spitfires intercepting German bombers to F-22s intercepting Tu-95s.  I have a boat load of F-106s to build myself.

What do you say?

Just want a fun broad build so there wont be to many rules.

  1. Crossovers would be allowed.
  2. Mild starts would be allowed.
  3. Concepts, kit bashing and/or scratch building would be allowed for proposed/fantasy concepts (not just decal swaps).
  4. Air to air weapons only so no bombs.
  5. Starting up some time in November or December and running till whenever depending on the interest.

I'm about to throw paint on an F-14.  Would that count or am I too far along?

Can you post a pic of your progress and then we can decide.

I was thinking of maybe a start date of November 1st and letting it go 6 months.  If interest picks up then we could extend the build dates.

I think Bish might disagree with you on that! ;)

I'm in, something in 1/72.

I would jump in on this.  I would need time to allow for a few breaks for the weekend madness builds.  So if the timeline is there, I'm in with a Hasegawa 1/48 F-22A.

I'd be in with a Revell 1/48 F-15C with the Oregon ANG Eagle markings.
