Remember your first GB? Build accordigly. Not the same model but something in line with your first GBs' topic.
Don't remember your first GB? No problem, remember as far back as you can and built acordingly.
Never participated in a GB? No problem. Scroll down the GB forums, pick something you like and there you go, its your first GB.
Now that you have no excuses, what are you gang thinging? Any takers?
I think my first GB was Lewbuds weekend madness and I built two 1/72 Yak-3's. I really want to get in on this, but I have 14 builds set for this year and half of those are GB's. I could join, but I have no idea if I will have any kits going that fit or if I have time to knock out anymore. Define your timeline for this and general rules and that will help me try to work something in.

On the bench:
A lot !! And I mean A LOT!!
2024 Kits on deck / in process / completed
14 / 5 / 2
Mine was a tank destroyer GB or that's what I can remember. I have Tamiya 1/35 M-10 I've been wanting to build so I'd be interested.
My First GB was Monogram Mafia III, I think... I may be able to join as I have some Monogram kits slated for this year. You can put me down as TBD.
On the Bench: Too Much
Scrolling through my history and I think I found it...it was Tigerman's Kursk/Operation Citadel GB. As with most from back then...the kit is still sitting on the shelf, basecoated, but untracked, undecaled, and unfinished.

I saw so many armor centered GB's back then, it really makes you wonder where everyone all went.

The general timeline would be, say, Feb 2 2023 to Feb 6 2024 (I have my reasons ). I would like some comitment here so that this GB does not end up like many others with bunch of people sign up and only very few build. I get it, life gets in the way...
Howsabout we have 10 commited folks at least?
My first GB subject was the Airfix 1/72 Westland Whirlwind, from a kit in the header bag. NOT doing that one again, but that leaves me with another Whirlwind, or maybe any Airfix kit if that fits the rules.

You don't have to build the same aircraft, just whatever the topic of your first GB was.
For example, my first GB was "thousand roadwheels" which was all about panzer IV and its variants. Then I built the Whirbelwind but this time I would build some other panzer IV.
I could always build another Phantom!
On Ed's bench, ???
It was probably the Fleet Air Arm GB. Oh so long ago.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
Yeah, I would join up with something related to Operation Citadel. Perhaps a Russian subject this time around.
2015/2016 RedHot & Rolling automotive GB hosted by Mustang 1989.
Monogram 1/25 1955 Chevy factory stock.
still have one in the stash..
Nick.
This sounds fun, but I've already got six projects to work on so far... My first GB was the World at War 1944 GB. I'm sure there'd be some good options for that one. :)
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” - John 3:16-17
Hmm...this sounds tempting. My first GB was one of the Phantom GBs from ages ago. I might be in on this one. I have a F-4 that I was thinking about pulling of the Shelf of Doom for the Git-R-Done GB. Maybe, just maybe, if cross-overs are allowed.

-It's Omar, but they call me "O".
Hmm. Might be interested in participating in this GB, from looking on looking back, My first GB was a German Armor GB.
Have a couple kits in the stash that will probably work.
Never give up, never quit, never stop modelling.
I can't do a weekend GB theme now, I just don't have it in me to whip one out in 48 hrs. I don't have any 1/72 fighters left. I do however remember an early GB I did with a P-51. I can totally commit to doing another one.
I will commit to doing a Tamiya 1/48 P-51B for this GB. That I can manage.
Hi CN,
Ripper concept! I am in with a 'Hooray for Hollywood 2014' entry.
Either Star Wars, 2001 or a Ghibli movie.
Like many, the dance card is filling up, so I won't get to it until later in the year.
