Must…resist…the…urge…to join another group build. Besides, I fall into the “Even Older Guns” category.

HEY,
I just thought id throw this idea in there. Oh wait, thanks for mentioning my name, it makes me feel important.lol Anyway, what do you guys think of judging our models and seeing whose is the best kinda thing, then we do the same for you, just a little motivation thing for the younger people in our group and the older ones who are getting slo in yours.lol Just an idea.. Go to our GB and post your reply on it, but make sure you discuss it thorughly, want to make sure the ones with the hearing aids get everythiing.sry guys, dont mean to be rude, just making friendly fun.lolBig Smile [:D]

Count this old (32) in for this... although with a 15 year hiatus I don't know how much I'll show the "younger" ones...

Give me a time frame and I maybe in. Being 39 and all I think I qualify. Of course I truley think of myself as 19 years old with 20 years of experience.

It's pretty scary, what counts for "Old Guns" on this forum. I'd better wait for "Catapults and Crossbows". Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D]
On the other hand, it ought to reassure those who fear the hobby is dying for lack of new blood. Approve [^] Thumbs Up [tup]

Yes its going to take some time to set this all up.., obviously not that much time as we "Old Guns" don't have that much time left... Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]
Figure we need a few more people... and then we could get started...
Subject of build "Anything"
Time Frame "January 1st"

Leave a post or shoot me an email to let me know if you are definitely in or not...
I already have an idea for the badge. Cool [8D]

OK I'm in with two LOTR figures (Legolas and Gandalf) in 54 mm.
Legolas is a Miniaturas Andrea figure and Gandalf came with a magazine; not being satisfied with the painting of Gandalf I'll remove the color and paint it myself.

Is Jan 1st the end date or the cut off date for joining?

GO GO GO AVUS!!!!
I have a Everquest chick..... I might redo her... she is still in the box wooo hooo!!!

Oh and by the way I have the badges for us, one badge is recognition of being a member of the group build.. the other is in recognition that you COMPLETED the Group Build.
The 3rd Badge is for the over all group winner of our 30+ group..... I personally won't be submitting a model, so I will be one of your judges.....(not to mention my cameras broke)

Does anyone host pictures for free? 24/7 connection, if not i will find something....

Hmmm... This could be interesting. I'm really a "young gun" (almost 17), but I am not affiliated with the Young Guns GB, and obviously can't join this one. I have my own fish to fry (Prototypes and Paper Projects GB), but I'll keep an eye on both of these GBs. Have fun!

(Oh, and if it's any consolation, I personally think old people are cool! Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D])

This will be my first GB, this sounds like fun. Please excuse the FNG questions, but what do we build, and when do we have to have it done by? And type LOUD, us poor old guys need all of the help we can get LOL.
