Idea for a GB
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 10:23 PM
Like a Video Game GB, anything you've seen in a war game (I only play WWII games and DC so pardon me if I leave something out) Medal of Honor series, Battlefield 1942 series... That's all I really play... Model of vehicles, figures, scenes would count. Just an idea, too much responsibility for me to do plus I've got my MoH:AA clan I need to play more with. I think it'd be a good chance to bring your favorite games to life.

As a matter of fact I was thinking (I actually posted in the AUTO forum) of starting a GB on streetracers like in Need for Speed Underground or Fast and the Furious.

sound's like a great idea! cant decide right now if i will join, mine would have to be scratchbuilt though cause i have no money.

ok ok i'm inBig Smile [:D] i cant resist! i'm going to be doing the "soviet war miner" from "red alert 2". i started playing that game a bit a while ago after a long time of not playing it. i was in the fsm bf1942 clan, but everyone left the clan.Sad [:(]

Anyone know where I can find a Daimler Benz C airborne-aircraft carrier from Secrect Weapons Over Normandy? I know it was a real-theoretical aircraft, I know there is a model of it, but I can't find it. Either that or the Ju 390 (shooting it out of the sky was fun).

no Ju390 but you can get a Ju290 and extend the wings and add an extra BMW 801 to each wing... you can get both at www.greatmodels.com the kit isn't very expensive either, not compared to the planet models one at 170.00, the Revell Germany one is 24.05. Most of the Revell DE stuff I have done is rater decent quality...

I was thinking about the scene at the end of Call of Duty with Red flag being raised above Berlin. I always thought that would be a cool diorama.

Is that planet models kit of the Ju 390, is it a conversion, or is it just a Ju 290?

Also, check out the new Battlefield 2. There are some cool vehicles(but it's hard to notice when you're ramping off cliffs in a Hummve trying to avoid being blown off the ground by percision air-strikes).
