I have to admit that my two MiGs are still not finished, I have canopying, decalling and then sealing left.
But … even if the GB is ended, I have had a really nice time and thanks to all of you, I can see kits being finished for the first time in many years.
Thank you Tanky and the rest of you guys

Last one out, turn out the lights and lock the door, but keep the key ready for June 21st.

Big Smile [:D] Approve [^] Tanky,

Thanks for leading the charge on this Group Build. It was the first one that I have ever done and I really enjoyed it. I guess that I got a little carried away with four entries, but I had to give Duke Maddog a run for his money. I'll be seeing you in few days for the "Planes of the Red Star" group build. OK, well, my MiG canopy has been masked. A project that looked easy...is there a good way to mask the curved windscreens at the front? Took ages! I used strips of Tamiya masking tape, so lets see how it looks. OK, I've missed the deadline for this GB. Anyway, after my abortive start with the MiG-15UTI, this one is much better, and ready for painting. Just a bit worried about the 6 colours I need! Oh well, it's a good way to learn.

Anyway, thanks for the inspiration of the GB! It's been fun!

The MiG-23 has come on a long way. Need to add the rear wings, and the inlets, then it can be painted. It's in Libyan colours, so the underside is Humbrol 65. 5 colours on the top side though...! Anyway, aim is to have it finished for the end of the month, which is not long, I know.

What?[:0] I'm having so much fun, though!Tongue [:P] LOL Some pics (finally) of my Malaysian Mig-29:

I couldn't decide on gray or the Russian blue-grey so I practiced some mixing. Turned out OK. Not too unlike the color in the Lock-On for the Mig29.Big Smile [:D] - Calvin

Excellent work on the Mig, especially on the cockpit. It certainly reflects the time and effort that you have invested in this build.
