"Quarter" scale group build challenge
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, January 7, 2005 8:07 PM
I posted this in the sci fi section and noone seemed interested.

I am proposing a group build where all finished models must be scratchbuilt and fit on top of a quarter.

Subjects must be of an established subject, meaning it cannot be a made up star fighter that noone has ever seen.

Any subject, any material.

Anyone think they can handle it?

I don't see why not. Figures, armor, AC, etc. as long as it fits on a quarter.

Can you specify the dimensions of a "quarter" (I'm not familiar with US currency)

Got that in metric, the USA (methinks) is the last country that still eclusively uses imperial measurements

Hatewall, I'm in under one condition/question. Can something like a barrell extend outside the quarter diameter? Also, I agree with Marc, the term "quarter" refers to 1/48 (I know it doesn't make sense). Another title like "currency challenge" might be better.

I already know what I want to do if we do this Big Smile [:D]
