I think Hobbycraft is the worst producer I've ever built, so why would I build a model that isn't good? I'll answer that myself; I'm have nothing better to do with my time.

Digger - You forgot one manufacturer. Battle Axe. Their Beechcraft Model 18 kit requires more putty than anything I've ever built.Big Smile [:D]

How about a PM models GB. Some of their stuff is truely afwul, especially their Mirage III/Nesher/Dagger kit. Still, it is cheap, and some is not bad. The Flamingo kit is OK, but then, it's also sold by Revell. The 1/72 Flagon kit can be worked into a reasonable model (just look out for the terrible canopy).

Don't really see a point to this GB, epecially when it comes to Hobbycraft. A lot of their kits are on par if not better than anything by Monogram, and their armor is mostly reboxed Trumpeter stuff, the OLD Trumpeter stuff, which coincidentally is getting better and better.
The build is a little too far reaching. Maybe a more specific subject would be good. For example, there is/was a Monogram a/c group build, and one of the reasons stated was the beastly nature of their fit. Just an idea anyways.

Well I guess I well close this build out due to non-interest in it.Oh well I thought that it might have been a good ideal and a challange.Digger

Well I decided to go with this Ideal in hopes to take a bad manufactuters kit and to make it better with our skills as modelers. So here are the rules to thsi group build;1.build one or three kits of your choice from these manufactuters ...
1.Lindburg-subject,ships
2.AMT-subject,Sci-fi and cars
3.Hobbycraft-subject,armor and aircraft
I figured to see about another retire on this and give a subject to these manufacturers in order to spark some interest in this group build.I hope this will do the job,if not email me and I will delete this subject.Digger
