I'm attempting to get some $$ then I'll be purchasing the A-10. I was hoping to grab one at the modelling expo this Monday (Queen's Birthday), but my uni gave me a chem exam that day!
Cheers,
John

I've got my model and the decals but I won't be making a start on the build until I clear some other commitments off the workbench.

Welcome to the build, biscuit3! I'll put you in the build list.
An F-20 in AusCam? Sounds great!! Go for it! And another in the livery of the Red Roulettes?? Great! Can't wait to see these!
Cheers,
John
P.S. While we're on the subject of the Roulettes, here's a great piccie.

Two Roulettes doing the mirror formation over Ninety Mile Beach in Australia.

Michael that's a great idea, a Roulette camo on an SU-27 would look cool.

Calvin go for it, two f-20's in the build won't make any difference if one is done up in Aus Cam and the other is done up as a Roulette.

Cheers

How about a technology demonstrator? Or an aerobatic team livery? That'd be cool!

I was thinking of a two-tone gray scheme but I'm a little tired of seeing grey a/c.Tongue [:P] Anyone got suggestions? - Calvin

Yeah, Jazz, I'm building an A-10 Hog, but feel free to do one as well.
Darren: I'll be loading it up with air-to-ground ordinance, the sort of stuff used for infantry support and/or enemy suppression fire missions. Evil [}:)]
As for the Hasegawa policy about ordinance, I'm finding the same with my 1/72 F/A-18A, I only got the AIM-9s and AIM-7s with it. The other underwing pilons are either fuel tanks or empty pilons.
Cheers,
John

John your Army Av A-10 sounds like a really cool idea. What ordinance are you going to put on it?

On my Harrier I found a couple of GBU-16's on an old Revell F-16C that are now going to new home. I tell you the policy of Hasegawa not to include ordinance is a real pain in the aCensored [censored]s.

Cheers

Hey chaps, I've made a decision about the A-10. It won't be RAAF as such, but an Army Aviation a/c. That means that it'll be painted in AusCam, like our helos.
Stand by for paint layout.
Cheers,
John

Well lads I got my Harrier II along with the Eduard zoom set today from Greatmodels. Geez that's a lot of bits for a 1/72 scale kit and all those itsy bitsy PE parts are going to be hours of fun.
I can't start for a while yet, but at least I've got all the bits that I need.

Cheers
Darren

Well it will be great to see when done.. The Mirage III that I am doing has come with alot of bombs that might go on my little Hawk.. I am thinking of arming it to the teeth.. But First I want to start on my new 1/32 Hornet. So the Hawk also for me is way down the line... I do think however Mike, that whatever you do.. Go whole HOGG!!

Chris

I won't commit just right now, but I have a feeling that it might be so....

Question is...do I use SNEB's or go for Napalm or FAE????

Deep thought required.....

cheers
