Digger, I'm finishing up an Emily for the Float build and was thinking of a Claude training for the trainer build, so that'll leave me either a Gekko (late version) or a Kate Type 11 limited run job. Is your Gekko a late or early version (I'll use it to decide). Thanks Robert

Count me in for a 1/72 something. I have 25 kits on the shelf. Emily, Rita, Betty, Judy, Babs, Dinah, Sonja, Peggy, and a bunch of the boys too. This could wind up being gender discrimination.

Hey Digger. I don't usually do WWI stuff but I have a Tamiya 1/32 Zero in the stash. I may as well do something with it. So, put me down for that one.

Digger,
Yah, I am leaning real hard towards Rita. I have cousin by that name and she is a cute red head with lots of freckels. I have a shelf full of back issues of WINGS and AIRPOWER and one of them has a very extensive article on the two Rita's we found when the occupation started. I'll have to dig that out and read it over again.

By next year, I should be able to get one or two done, so I'm in, but may not start for awhile.

Probably a hasegawa 1/48 Ki 43 Oscar, maybe a tamiya 1/32 a6 zero.

Looking forward to at least watching this until I get started.
Leon

PS. Because I honestly don't know...do people put one plane into a couple of group builds? For example, would a build fit here and in the pacific build?

I've got a Tamiya 1/48 A6M-3 Zero that would work perfectly for this GB. I picked it up at a comp this morning for $10 (plus alot of other really cheap kits, decals and books). I don't know if I'll do it for the midway GB or this one yet, so put me down as a maybe.

I was wondering if anyone has started this build yet? It supposedly started May1? Since it goes to 2006, that is plenty of time for me to get some other builds off my desk. I just scored me the Hasegawa Ki-43I Hayabusa with working motor! So if this is still a go, put me down please!Smile [:)]

I am just finishing up my n1k1 george that I started before the group build began, so it doesn't count, but I am still planning on doing at least the oscar or the zero.

Since it doesn't end till June 2006, count me in. I thinking of a 1/48 Nakajima Ki.27 Type 97 "Nate" in Manchukuo markings. Anyone have a group badge idea yet?
