Hello, I have a few questions about group builds. Thanks in advance

-DO you ever have to see the other people in the build?

-If you do not have a camera, does that mean you cant be in the build?

-....well thats it....so....thanks

Well, I'm just participating in my first group build (the P-40 Warhawk), but I'll give you My 2 cents [2c].

In answer to your first question, if by 'see' the other people you mean actually meet them in person, then the answer is no since we are scattered across the globe.

As for your second question, a camera isn't necessary, although others would enjoy seeing your work. My personal feeling about a group build is that it's a way to share in a similar interest; to give and receive advice, tips, and information; and to motivate each other. Don't let a lack of a camera dissuade you from participating; the more the merrier!

Big Smile [:D] gbs are a way to get to know the folks in the forums, and if you do have a camera great, its just nice to see how the build is going, and you are in touch with all the folks in the build, its a good way to see if thebuild is going good or not,and you allways have help all you have to do is ask.Big Smile [:D]

Nick group builds are a great way to interact with other modellers from all over the world, i've had a whole heap of fun the last year or so in GB's and i have had the pleasure of building my models with a great bunch of guys from one Gb to the next...
In fact a group of us are starting to refer to each other as the USUAL SUSPECTS, we plan the next GB when the current one is nearing it's end, that way we are pretty much constantly building throughout the yearThumbs Up [tup]
And no you don't need a camera but i think you'll be wanting one soon after joining your first GBThumbs Up [tup]
