I've just read through a number of the existing group builds and found that I was taken by the idea of the "quickie" builds as a way of learning how to do a good job without an endless amount of time or expense.
So, I'm going to propose a T-34 build to be completed over a single weekend, probably in August. There is an article on this exact topic in the November 2003 FSM, also available on-line at the following link, so it should be pretty easy for a novice such as myself to get into the idea. The article discusses building a Tamiya 1/35 T-34/85, but the build would be open to any brand, any scale, any mark T-34.
