Let me quote some Pink Floyd:
"Hello! Is there anybody out there?!"
Anybody still following this GB?

I've finished building all of the figures I mentioned; now I have to decide which ones I'll paint for this GB.

Tankmaster7 The Uruk-Hai, Darth Vader and the Stormtrooper are already painted collector's items. I stripped down the paint and plan to improve the detail and then re-paint them.
All the other figures (including Legolas) are made by Miniaturas Andrea.
I forgot to add a Mr.Spock and a Cpt.Picard to the list of possible items for this GB.

Small POLL:
What do you guys think, which ones should I make?

From what I read it was German mk 8 or mk 7 from WWI. I didnt even know the Germans had Any tanks beside their sturmpanzer. Looks like something either made up, or from the 1920's.

Interesting topic. I have some figures to make: An Uruk-Hai, Legolas, Freddy Kruger (Nightmare), Conner MacLeod (Highlander), Spiderman, Darth Vader and a Star Wars Stormtrooper.
So I guess I just have to pick a few for this Groupbuild.
I plan to make a 1/35 Blackhawk Down Dio with a Blackhawk, two Littlebirds, a Technical, some buildings and lots of figures, but I it would take me more tha a year to finish it so I guess it won't fit for a GB.

Have you thought about start and end dates?

I might go for this. Would TV vehicles be included, or strictly movies?

I think it is better to restrict just to area of movies.I want to be a bit more focus.Or u can also start a group build of TV series like " Band of Brother" ," Tour of duty" ......

That's cool. I still have several projects that could fit this build. It would depend as well on the time frame.

Was it red or pink? One of the best "war" movies ever...along the same lines as Catch 22 but not as serious...

Had a roommate at University that was an honest to God walking talking Oddball...and he never saw the movie...

I'll be getting my Batmobile from the new Batman Begins movie at the end of July, so I could do that (and I'll have completed a couple other GBs by then, too. Big Smile [:D]

I Wanted to do that a while back, it would be pretty sweet.
if this starts I think I'll either go for something from Downfall, SPR, or Black hawk down ( i kinda want to have the rangers deploying from the choppers.)

Pretty cool idea. I know I'd be extremely tempted to do the motorcycle from the Great Escape.

This is interesting...so an Aggressor from "Top Gun" would be acceptable or the car from "Back to the Future"...sounds like it could be fun...unfortunately I am up to my bottom lip in builds and there are some coming in 2006 that look to be not misses...any idea for a time frame?

Movie Group Build.....
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, July 6, 2005 10:30 AM
I don't know anybody has started this topic? But I think no since I try with the search engine.

OK! What I want to start is a Movie Group Build which all the movie scene or equipment create into diorama or model, figures or anything as long as it is from any movies indicated with original movie scene photo and yr model posted. I give an example like movie "Black Hawk Down" with the famous Super 64 Black Hawk chopper model kit build trying to be as accurate as the movie one.

Anybody wanted to start the roll first?Cool [8D]
