Well I have the stance of my pony right now I need to do is find the right rims and tires so the stance wont change. this might turn out to turning the front tire in a lathe and make them a smaller diameter. then find away to cut new treads in the rubber.Question [?]

hey guys, im really sorry for not dropping in for so long .. i feel really bad about that .... Black Eye [B)]

so yeah, i basically just have my engine done and thats it. damned airbrush isnt working!! i think i will stop at the LHS for some spray cans so that i can get this sucka DONE! im thinking about doing my kit wth "True Blue Pearl" by Boyd Enamel, with interior of "Light Ivory" by model master i think. at least those are the paint bottles i was intending to airbrush.. maybe i can find some similar colors in spray form. im sick of being unable to paint and then assemble... the kit is just so brilliantly made!

hopefully i can do this in ten days... lmao.... crunchtime!! Tongue [:P]

but yeah, that engine looks really sweet. diggin the headers! ive been considering trying out some plumbing/wiring effects on my models but i just want to focus on honing my basic skills before i get into the details like that.

okay guys, so we only have three participants and progress doesnt seem to be moving very fast, but we're not done yet! lets get it done. Cool [8D]

It is funny that you mention Boyd coddington his shop is two blocks from my house. do you watch the show american hot rod? I get to see the cars built before they are even on tv. and he likes taco bell. have had the privledge of eating with his crew a few times.

Evil [}:)] ERRRRRG!!!! SO JEALOUS OF YOU!! lol. that is so cool! Cool [8D]

My progress is absolutely FLYING! I think I actually might be able to finish it on time! Big Smile [:D] Big Smile [:D] Big Smile [:D]

I got my airbrush working again by some miracle of God, but I didn't want to spend so much time with the cleaning process between switching colors because of my time crunch. I bought Tamiya Colors spray cans, and WOW do they come out nice! For real, the first thing that came out of my mouth after I let the body dry was, "I think I am done with my airbrush." It looks really nice.

I'm only doing my 98 Saleen Speedster, not doing the Coddington hot rod. It's being done in Tamiya Italian Red with Tamiya Gloss Black trim, with interior done in Satin Black from the airbrush. Today is out of the question cuz I have stuff going on all day, so I must finish it tomorrow, but that should not be very difficult because all I have left is the engine and suspension/chassis left to do. Shouldn't be more than a couple of hours of work, and if it doesn't rain in the morning, then maybe I can get pics up by noon.

I am so glad that this project is coming together for me! I was feeling really discouraged with my broken airbrush and was very worried I wouldn't be able to finish my own GB on time. Looks like I'll pull it off, though. Clown [:o)]

How is your progress, platinumhw? The engine looks great. Got progress pics? And Fobius?? How'd your windows problem turn out? Hope all is going well -- only one day left!

Ok that's it calling all mustang builders. we need you here and we need the pics also. been looking for the right size tires and I am finding out that this kit was more screwed up than I thought. nothing in the kit fits right. some how not only the chassie is, was wrong the engine and others on the same eprew are 1/24 the rest is 1/25 so alot of changes will be made. asprin anyone?
