No such thing as a stupid question. Stupid answers are another story, but let's not go there. Basically a Member will come up with a theme for his GB & establish start & end dates along with his general rules. Any Member interested can then sign up for the GB, the more the merrier. Basically each member then builds a kit that meets the theme & rules. Within the GB Topic Forum, Members can share progress on their builds, share research, ask for & give advice, etc. It's usually a lot of fun & a great way to get to know some of the Members better & maybe sharpen modeling skills as well.

Regards, Rick

OK we will be kind to you. (But watch out for Kremps, I hear she can be quite the … well… you know… (So guys… we are not to scare him off ‘til we hook him…right?) Usually doing a search will pull up loads and loads of info. But a GB is simple... someone decides on a subject with what ever criteria they choose. It can be as broad as the WWII Aircraft GB, that starts tomorrow BTW, that includes an obvious huge selection. Or a little more definitive like the Battle for Germany GB. The subject has to have been used in the… well… Battle for Germany. Or it could be only P-51’s built on a Tuesday in 1943. Just look at the first pages of some of the GB's that are here and you will see what I mean. Then all you do is build something that fits the criteria. The thread here is to post questions and generally share info regarding the chosen subject matter. Sometime we rant and carry on about all sorts of nonsense but usually some pretty good help is found with a high level of camaraderie.

(edit)
Rick... wow was I having a total brain fade... it was like I forgot how to type. When I saw the time stamp on your reply I could not believe how long it took me to type this LOL

Yep, basically a bunch of people getting together either for the sake of getting together and building something, or getting together because they're all building a particular something. Jump on in Smile [:)]
